Normec Groen Agro Control has 3 different laboratories at a single location. This allows you to approach us for both organic, inorganic, and microbiological analyses. Below you will find all the available microbiological germ count packages. If you have any questions about this, please contact us at 015-2572511 or via info.agro@normecgroup.com.
Germcount, several packages to count living micro-organism in water, soil and roots
Quantitively control of microbiology in water is often done by counting bacteria and fungi, the so-called germcount numbers in colony forming units per ml. That means counting living micros in water. Even when water is treated by disinfection or a disinfecting agent is added, germcount numbers represent living micros. Regular monitoring on drain water gives insight in what is happening in the rootzone. The sooner you detect increased spore pressure from plant diseases, the better you can respond before it becomes too contagious. For most microorganism, we have reference values to evaluate the numbers per type of water in a horticultural system. We are happy to help you understand what you see, so ask us when you have any questions. In the appendices you will find the explanation and the list of parameters, respectively. Sent your water samples for germcount (cooled) in sterile bottles (250ml)
